Enjoying it, dunno why but it feels like COD4 to me. Don't know what it is, feels faster than BF3 less clunky and more streamlined.

If you playing with a team of friends in squads you can easily feast on snipers/or campers.how? well if you die to a camper/sniper you will always have a buddy to act out revenge on the person who killed you.Playing solo in MP is all wrong in my eyes...no teamwork lack of coms waste of time really.

Was so awesome on beta map, don and I just raping them non stop as soon as they get on the roofs.

Well I play Recon for the C4/spawn point creation/spotting/laser designation but as you start off with a dodgy bolt action rifle (at least you did in the beta), I'll have to camp a little just to unlock a semi auto so I can stand a hope in hell of using at close/mid distance; then it's forward with the rest of the team

Plus, I'm a terrible sniper, so it may take a while

If so I'd quite like to come on and get involved in some 'proper' teamwork.

Played a couple of games last night on SAS Beer Drinkers and my squad mostly stayed together and went after objectives and it makes a world of difference to how enjoyable the game is.

Can I buy the game now or am I going to get too much headache? Also, should I buy the premium edition or the standard? Considering the Premium is 40% more expensive.

For instance, I've been in conquest matches where our team was losing badly (hardly any capture points) and yet these same snipers on the team don't think to bother changing tactics at all when this is the case. They still sit there sniping the odd enemy when really they should be desperately trying to claw back some capture points to reverse the ticket drain.

They should just completely get rid of the k/d stat and it would knock a lot of it on the head.

Exactly!

Although unfortunately some form of a k/d stat is needed as the game modes rely upon the tickets/deaths but what they should do is "hide" it from the scoreboard and battlelog stats. Guaranteed people wouldn't camp anywhere as much or/and hopefully move back to COD.

Hi all,

had a quick go on the game last night and tried again this morning using CactusVPN to connect.

Only after getting into battlelog, dissconnecting the vpn and go to launch a mutliplayer game, i'm getting an EA message pop up saying :

"We could not activate Battlefield 4 on this computer using the Origin Account you provided. Please locate your product key to activate the game using your Origin Account."

Anyone had the same or able to assist?

I think you can start as engineer (decent weapon, anti-vehicle abilities) until you unlock "carbine for all kits" then become a carbine-toting recon FTW.

Yeah others who went Windows 8.1 have had the same, think I've found a fix:

Had a Chat with an EA/Origin tech. This procedure worked for me: Here are the Steps :- Open Computer from the Start menu and go to: C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Services\License **Program Data may be a hidden folder on your machine**
Delete either 71067.dlf or 71069.dlf (depending on if you have Limited Edition or Standard)
Reboot your machine.
Launch Origin.
Try to launch BF 4.
