How do you lose a game when you play a team that doesn't have jungler (in draft pick 5v5), has an ap blitz support who doesn't buy wards, and an attack speed Soraka, when at one point you were 30 kills ahead and had baron? I'm never going to get to 30 if I have to play with people like this.

The game before we had a teemo support who decided the best thing he could do around level 10 was to stand in baron so his passive made him invisivble so he could steal it just incase they decided to go for baron...... sneaky, but pointless, especially as when they did decide to go for it the pink warded.

Fun times.

No worries Twst, feel free to pop on to mumble any evening and you should get some games. It's always fun playing with ya! :D

Honestly just learn Shen, Jax and Renekton if you want to learn top lane. They've all been staple champions in that lane since Season One and are extremely strong right now too.

all three of which i own so looks like a plan shen is one of those that requires you to be very map aware which would be nice to learn and practice :) and don't worry you won't lose me that easily.

Honestly, you would all do a lot better if you stopped worrying about other players and worried about yourself. Best thing I ever did was to focus on my own play and stop blaming team mates for my losses. All you're doing by raging at other people is blinding yourself to your own flaws which is actually what will stop you from climbing.

What? lol where did I say I was raging? So it must be my flaws that make people play like idiots? I think you're projecting a bit here. I only ever do what is best for the team.

I find it hilarious that you say that even though you've completely misread what I said and found your own meaning :p I didn't once say that you raged. I'm just pointing out that you will get idiots at every single level. Hell I'm pushing gold I still get people who are willing to throw an easy win because someone hurt their ego. You just have to learn to ignore them.

He is right. I am silver IV (just recently promoted to silver V). I am by no means a great player. However i have noticed that I am winning a lot more by simply not giving a crap about my team mates. I focus on my own lane, I ward to stay safe, go for kills when i can and keep my cs up.

The biggest thing I found was once you get past the laning phase is to constantly just keep up the pressure by pushing lanes and pressuring towers.

Team fights in low elo are just a mess. People just spam their abilities (myself included) and its just a crap fest. However as soon as I see say 4 people in bot in a team fight against my team, I am in mid or top pushing the crap out of the lane and hopefully take a tower.

Sometimes however you will lose regardless and it can be frustrating if your team mates are rubbish but constantly pressuring lanes will ease that.

I love playing Garen by the way. I hide in bushes and spin to win. Then I drop bows on em.

I've had a chance to try out a few of the champions now, and I am liking this game so far.

I seem to like playing champions with good sustain, so far I have bought Warwick and Morgana to cover Fighter & Mage roles....although Morgana seems kinda support-like also.

Tried Fiddlesticks & Kha'zix on this weeks rotation (Sticks' ultimate is a lot of fun!), looking forward to trying Rengar later in the week.

Just playing bot games at the moment, but looking to make the transition to PvP very soon.

As a jungler this is the best piece of advice I can ever say to someone. The moment a lane whinges about the following:

you not ganking
you securing the kill

they are instantly blocked. Its pathetic the amount of players that cant admit their own mistakes. When I **** up 9/0 times I understand why the other 1/10 my team mate was clear as day in the wrong.

Not pushing.
Buying warmogs , Lich Bane on Gagras - not optimal builds.
Not buying GA's
They have 2 AP champs, yet your the only one with Spirit Visage.
Your adc and jungler arent fed at all, all your power is in one guy.
and im sure you all got grabbed by blitz countless times.

Wasting Cash and time essentially by the looks of it. So the whole team is to blame.

Which is the point I made in the original post. I can't carry a team as a support so I'm screwed if they can't play the game correctly. I can only play my own game and build my champ as best as I can to help out.

yeh and you lose some games in stupid ways. its the nature of the game and you cant carry your team as a support unit anyway. If thats what you want to achieve you need to play another role.

Thanks bro/mate/chum/pal, I was just venting my frustration with like minded people. I was not expecting sympathy.

I don't have a bronze mentality at all, it seems you pull information out of my posts and make up your own facts. Pls consider what you want to say is relevant before you press the "submit reply" button as so far you have missed the mark massively.

Lata <3

Then don't come on the boards expecting for us to go "there there it will be ok". No one cares if you won or lose or you have an issue with your team. Just play and get better

Q. "How do you lose a game when you play a team that doesn't have jungler (in draft pick 5v5)has an ap blitz support who doesn't buy wards, and an attack speed Soraka, when at one point you were 30 kills ahead and had baron? "

A. it happens not often but it does happen. Its not ranked so people sometimes like to have a laugh and play whatever they feel like. I was in game yesterday as rengar top lane against a teemo and nautilus. in the end we still won.

"I'm never going to get to 30 if I have to play with people like this." - This comes across as you are throwing your toys out of the pram and having a bit of a whine, can also come across as raging . You will get to 30 regardless of wins or losses it happens to everyone and is part of leveling up"

"The game before we had a teemo support who decided the best thing he could do around level 10 was to stand in baron so his passive made him invisible so he could steal it just in case they decided to go for baron...... sneaky, but pointless, especially as when they did decide to go for it the pink warded." - Yet again this happens, however its not likely to happen in ranked as often as normals, but yet again it happens.

learn to forget about crap like this and you'll be in a better spot than you are now.

Next time you lose two on the trot, please don't come in here and moan about it. No one cares really. and you'll just get someone else saying the same stuff I am saying to you.

BTW learn to play support, you have way too many items and your primary job is to ward the map, yes the whole map. you shouldn't be buying Spirit Visage, Sunfire cape. And why didn't you upgrade your sightstone. Vision wins games, so ward often and ward a lot. Normally in My support games I tend to get a locket as an item and cloth boots, the rest are spent on sightstone and wards including pinks. Why buy a tear on Thresh???

Good comprehension skills yet again, I could go through the rest of your post and pick up even more wrong assumptions/ made up facts but have given up.

Why buy a tear as thresh? Because my adc kept suiciding and I had to hold the lane myself (all his kills were end game). Without my mana I'm screwed. Obviously your amazing insight knew this. No where did I state I was the best support so sorry if my item choices weren't optimal.

Keep up the good work.

First of all spirit visage is perfectly viable and an optimal secondary item for what he was facing. More cdr mr health against a double ap build is a great choice. Second of all it's not his role alone to ward the whole map at every stage of the game either hence riots choice to be restricting the number of wards each Player can have for the next season.

A lot of advice you have tried to give has come across in a bad way. It's frustrating when you lose a game that you know by all accounts you should have won. I didn't read the original post as really flaming the team merely informing us of a situation.

In short sprit visage good choice upgrade to rubysightstone in all games don't listen to people who say its only your job to ward that is simply wrong. Do as much right as you can each game and when you lose one just think of something you did wrong that you could have done better :)

Edit. Just noticed you had not purchased a philosophers stone. Not sure if you had one then sold it to make space or not but that is a must on every support. Hp mana regen to combat your mana issues you was discussing and it also upgrades to a shirleyas reverie a great item that can secure your team a kill or secure a team disengage to save your team from an ace.

Defending my position from accusations based on ignorance is not "one upping".

Thanks for the reply of reason 4play, I'll have a look into those items when I next play. As stated, I don't play a lot of support but am willing to learn all lanes as pick order usually dictates the lane I play.

TBH he should have upgraded to the Locket of Iron Solari instead of getting the SV. And have gotten the Shurleya's. They support your team a lot better than a SV or Sunfire. And at his level (as hes not level 30) other people are not likely to ward due to them not knowing or bothering to ward (Bronze mentality). Hence why he should have stepped up and warded for his team. Like I said, wards win games, I would have been interested to see how much ward coverage there was in his jungle not to mention how many times people got picked off.

its got nothing to do with ignorance, its just that you come across in your post as you are whining about your loss because you come here posting that big Screengrab of your defeat and moaning about your teammates. And like others said, don't stress yourself about a loss no matter what happens. Its LoL, learn to deal with it and forget about it and carry on playing.
