*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Just placed the order for the killzone bundle, not sure if i am that bothered about killzone really, but for £375 its not too bad! guess i can sell the game and get a different one, im more bothered about getting it on day one, so i am hoping zavvi come through with the delivery! girlfriend will be shocked when i come home with this under my arm from work lol

Killzone is probably the best looking title on the next gen consoles at release so it will be good to show off the new hardware. I love the Killzone games so it was a must have title for me.

I'm actually looking forward to playing the F2P "Warframe", it just seems suited to the console and it looked really good from what I saw at Eurogamer.

I'm pleased I booked some time of work for the release I just wouldn't get the time to play it all if I didn't.

Aren't it and Knack the only launch titles that were actually developed for the next-generation from the start?

Knacks a wierd one, to be blunt it looks like a kids game (no disrespect) but it seems to play like a hard platformer for what sites have said. Its just a dichotomy of ideas and probably why so many dismiss it so quickly. Im not interested in it, but with Japan getting it free, I kinda hope it drops into EU PS+ within the year...

Yeah, I know what you mean....that said, even at 40+ I still like Ratchet & Clank, and even a bit of Jak & Daxter.....as things stand, I have an Amazon bundle with only KZ (and 2x controller + camera) coming, so might not need another game right away.
Still, happy to be swayed, come just a few weeks time......

DriveClub is certainly coming along nicely, graphics are amazing.

I'm looking forward to playing it, personally. Somewhat excited about playing a next-gen title directed by Mark Cerny :D

Got to love that man, he has such a calming voice lol!

You saw this video? (not sure how to embed!)

EDIT: Forgot a word :D

2nd EDIT: Thanks ps3ud0 :)

You're definitely not alone there :D that would be one hell of a duo though... No homo, but I could listen to Mark's presentations all day.

The animation team really has done a cracking job, and the game just looks so much more natural because of it. When you see a car go round a tight corner with a minuscule amount of steering lock it just breaks the whole illusion, so I'm glad we've managed to raise the bar here :)

just learned theres a new dc trailer. go here to unlock it http://www.ps4tinietempah.com/ (higher quality)

I'd say it's 99% certain that Knack will be free with PS+ in less than 12 months. In fact I wouldn't mind betting it'll be quite soon. It depends how fast they come out of the blocks with PS4 titles on PS+. If Vita is anything to go by, it's pointless buying a game unless you really MUST play it ASAP during the first 12 months from launch.

Knack seems like the most logical title to push onto it.

Unless it's all just smaller Indie games given that PS+ is now mandatory for online play so it'll be interesting to see if they give out as many big games. Hopefully they do.
