BF4 for me is simply amazing, esp given we are in the release week. Performance is massively improved and the new maps while different are fun.

Not usually one to comment on PC's, but that looks like a nice setup.
 
will my spec be ok to run this game on hi/ultra settings?

i have my monitor at 1920x1080

i5 3570k @ 4.2 GHz

At that resolution? Easily on Ultra.

1080p ran fine on 'high' settings on my 1GB 6870.

Edit - Ah, you meant 1080p? A mix of Ultra and high then probably. Kill the AA and you should be good.
 
I want to go home and fire up BF4, I have checked this thread about 5 times today so far! Pointless really as my PC is still downloading and probably wont finish until this evening. I set it off last night about 10pm and it had only done 50% by 8am this morning. To to top it off I just received an email from my provider saying I have hit 90% of my usage allowance:( which means I have only 10gb to last me till Friday.

oh dear that's not good. hopefully it finishes downloading before you max out

Wanting to get in on the action early but when i go through the vpn it says it wont accept my origin login. Pooh. Any suggestions , I have been following this thread but this seems like an error that hasnt occured yet.

Even if it does, I hope there's some.bandwidth left for the guy to play BF with......how cruel would that be, all nicely installed but no bandwidth left to play :eek:
 
Played it last night on a 680 and was smooth as could be.

I was more than a bit surprised although I haven't updated to latest driver yet.
Was playing on the last beta driver issued during BF4 beta.

This was whilst playing through a USA VPN.
