Iphone 5 to 5s, worth it?!

Having had a play with a 5S, and having a chance to compare it to my 5, I'd say it's far from worth it, it's the first iPhone I've not bought. Go for it if you have the cash that it doesn't matter, but otherwise I'd say hold on for the 6.

Not remotely. During day to day use they feel virtually identical in terms of speed. Best to put the money towards the next generation (as Nymins was implying, I think :D).

It's the same usual upgrade bump

3 > 3GS

4 > 4s

5 > 5s

You have to ask yourself if the following upgrades are worth it for YOU

A7 Processor
Better Camera with 120fps Video
Touch ID

There must be some limitations with your 5 to make you think about upgrading. What are they? Unless you want a new toy and have the gadget itch. If you do, buying another iphone won't scratch that itch. You need something else.

I agree. I think that the fingerprint reader is cool, and the camera is better, but if you have a 5, not really worth upgrading for just this alone.

I wouldn't (I haven't!) upgrade from a 4S to a 5S. Never mind from a 5.

Hopefully the 6 will have NFC. I'd think about upgrading for that.

I moved from the 5 to the 5S when it was released - It wasn't worth it. The TouchID is a great bit of kit, but that's really all you'll notice an improvement in, unless you use the camera a lot which is much better.

Saying that, I'm travelling at the moment, so the extra security of the TouchID is very nice to have...
