Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

I'm not needing to use a VPN and I'm playing on low ping servers on the West Coast. I've not had too many connection issues, although there's been a couple of times where I've been in someone's vehicle and it's lagging a bit, making it hard for me to aim. That might be because they had a bad connection though.

Otherwise it's been fine.

what's with the sounds issues on some of the maps, everything just goes dead quiet, so sounds at all ?

Hope so, really wanted to play this tonight.. It wouldn't have let me pre load etc if there was something wrong with the code?

I think when it asked me for the code again I just re connected to the vpn on a USA server then disconnected after it accepted it. I havent had to run a VPN since.

To summarize, I connected to the VPN to do the pre load, started campain, then disconnected VPN. I then fancied a bit of MP so clicked on that, it asked to put my code in again, but I got the same error everyone else is mentioning, so I re connected to the VPN, put the code in, it said something about my cloud save then it let me play MP. I tabbed out again and disconnected the VPN.

Since then I can just load BF4 64 bit from the desktop with no need for VPN's.

Hope that helps out some of you.

I'm guessing using a VPN to get around the release dates is OK then? With you talking to an advisor about it?

Not really any different. Just feels like BF3, which is why I will sell my premium code and continue with Planetside 2.

The only way it lets me in to a game is if I stay connected to a vpn

yea its letting my on to battlelog and when I join server then the prompt pops up

Any server that is run by a clan/group will kick people to get their own members on. :rolleyes:

Yes, some maps are audio bugged to hell

The solution to this is for you to rent a server and not kick anyone surely?
