Whose willing to bet Gigabyte put some dumb code in the GHZ Bios so that if the card isn't B1 stepping it won't work in a normal card.

Would be nice if it would, paid £570 for mine, won't be doing that again, considering the price only 5 months down the line, and with three free games!! What a mug I've been taken for lol

To confirm for anyone wondering, we located some GTX 780 Rev2.0 from Gigabyte at a local distributor, they are now IN STOCK and I can confirm they are indeed Rev2.0 with Black PCB and 2x8-Pin connectors.

Ghz is a separate card which guarantee's a B1 780 GPU and comes with a backplate.

Rev2.0 merely means its the uprated PCB with 2x8-Pin power and black in colour.

The WF 780 I received from OCUK yesterday is a v2.0 if it helps. Fantastic card and out of the box it boosts to 1084MHz.

I just ordered mine and hope it will do the same.. so if it does cant see how paying the xtra £50 is worth it for the guranteed ghz edition

Don't think it makes any difference if it's a revision 1, or 2, well in terms of stock clocks my v1 boosts to 1097MHz. I guess if you push the cards with over volting it might come in handy.
