The Xbox One uses a GPU similar to a Radeon 5770, PS4 uses a GPU similar to Radeon 5850 with custom modifications.

The only way a performance gap like that is going to be bridged is by making sacrifices to resolution and such.

Still a launch release, but all other platforms have a release date.

However bad this game looks, if you want a local coop shooter, this is your only choice!

At least it has that going for it!

Hey, been on the road last couple weeks so haven’t had a chance to update, but wanted to confirm that for Xbox One we’re 1080p upscaled from 720p. And, we’re native 1080p on PS4. We optimized each console to hit 60 FPS and the game looks great on both. Still on the road, but glad to see the great reception to Extinction. Can’t wait for next week's launch.

Debatable. If I recall its a 7790 with 2 of its CU disabled making it more on par with a 7770.

Meanwhile the PS4 GPU is between the 7850/7870, but then are custom things like it having 8 ACE like the 290x.

So its an odd one, like all custom chips there are things that set them apart from the things they are based on and we won't know the in and outs until someone takes them apart.

Either way, disappointing news on the Ghosts front. Especially the fact ground war has been removed from current gen. I think I'll wait to see how this pans out before getting a copy.
