Oc.uk specs not correct I see. The unit has 4x 6+2 Pin PCI-E connectors http://www.coolermaster.com/product/Detail/powersupply/gx-series/gx-750w.html.

We'll have a go with the psu and see if it doesn't cope with the system.

Please read the first post she already has a Cooler Master GX 750 which the plan is to reuse if it can run HD7970s crossfire & ci7 3820.

Just needing a better power supply then the misses PC can get up running
Motherboard, graphics cards, cpu, cpu cooler bought 2nd hand/used for £467 - only the RAM I bought from new for £122 (I was planning to use them in my own system for a 4930K, but I decided that CPU would just be a waste of money in the end, so I decided to use them in her PC).
