Anyhow good luck, enjoy Dubai...it makes the UK look like a 3rd world country with some of the extravagant buildings and money floating around. I love going to Dubai.

a few of them are cool... most of the place is very very tacky... a lot of them are built on the cheap and don't necessarily adhere to western safety standards

as for 3rd world country... LOL... Dubai is a polished turd run by backwards people with backwards beliefs and laws... it essentially would be a third world country if they didn't have large amounts of cash to pay westerners to help manage/run things for them or the, essentially, slave labour from the likes of Bangladesh, India etc.. to keep on building for them.

What happened with the job?

I still have the job. I had a second interview for another job today though and should hear back tomorrow or Monday. I have another interview lined up for Monday.

I have also applied for an IT support job in Dubai and will have a look while I'm there. Keeping all options open at the moment.

I dont understand why you would tell your sister or anyone for that matter, its your business not theirs and if the bro in law doesnt like it then tell him to go do one.
