cheap gtx 460 1GB upgrade

hi all

as in the title i am looking for a cheap upgrade from my aging gtx460sli
im on a very limited budget !!
my current spec:
6GB (3x2GB) Corsair XMS3, DDR3 PC3-12800 (1600)
Asus P6X58D-E, Intel X58, S1366, PCI-E 2.0 (x16)
Intel Core i7 950 Bloomfield 45nm, 3.06 GHz, QPI 4.8GT/s, 130W
psu: corsair 650 tx
case: silversotne raven rv03

i was thinking about buying gtx 670 now and adding another one later.
the cheapest new card is aprox 174quid from + 2 games
its reference zotac gtx 670 build on a gtx 680pcb
i could sell the games making it aprox 140, maybe

ive heard that raven rv03 is very good with reference cards
but on the other hand ive heard not to buy reference cards at all

ive looked for used gpus as well but could not find anyting interesteing

gtx 680 new or used is too expensive for me aprox 200-230quid and gtx 760 is weaker than 670 . amd 7950 and 7970(r9 280) would be good for now but i could not crossfire them with 650W psu.

any advice please?

Wait a minute, 650W won't run 670 SLI either.. So why discount the 7950, its better (overall) than the GTX 670.

Please don't use competitor names, its against the rules, that you have obviously read..

If you can't find a secondhand 680 under £200 you're looking in the wrong place, to be honest you can do better for your money anyway.

The reason its good with reference cards is due to its inverted nature. Most reference cards push the hot air out the back of the card. Which means it will be exhausted out of the case quicker.

Reference cards can be loud and hot.
