For example, the 720p thing is the biggest probably.

Why is it that people feel the need to tell others who are still buying an XB One that they are stupid, etc, etc? Because it's weak, rubbish, etc.

I agree with this. Everyone who's pre-ordered an Xbox One has done so knowing that it is the weaker of the two consoles and will likely have weaker performance in some games. Some people still seem determined to point it out every chance they get though.

Why is it that people only ever seem to care about what THEY want, and always seem to think that because THEY DON'T want something, that others should be OK with that?

If people want to tug on their sanitary towels over a console lacking features be my guest. I was only throwing my opinion out there that the purpose of a console is for the priority of gaming and not a multimedia center.

Good news about the announcements though, hopefully we'll get word on what Naughty Dog and Santa Monica Studios are working on.

Jak IV please loved the concept art they released when they revealed that they were originally intending to continue the Jak series before deciding to make The Last of Us instead.

BS post and a sweeping generalisation.

Pathetic attempt to defend a 2013 400 piece of kit that can't stream or playback your CD collection.

I'm not defending the PS4; I know it can't stream or play CDs. However, I don't even have any CDs. And why would I want to stream to the PS4, that then goes to the TV, when I could cut out the middleman and stream straight to my TV.

This is a games console, not a 'media center'.

I am only getting it to play PS4 exclusives on (which is kinda dumb after the reduced launch lineup). The rest will be done on PC as the games are so much cheaper (e.g. just got BF4 + China Rising DLC for £31.25) and will run better.

Its 4 weeks isn't it? im worried as zavvi are still saying they have day one consoles available, and this close to the launch i cant see it being true, surely they would have all sold out by now 0_o

Release month is here......29th is no longer a day I need to be at the office......grossly overpriced Guide to Playstation 4 (from makers of OPM magazine) purchased through excitement.....plans to move PS3 to children in discussion......come on!

Regarding the lack of MP3 support and External HDD support...

I currently have my console linked to my home cinema system. Now that 70% of what my console is used for is removed for PS4, do many home cinema systems have the option to plug in 2x Optical Cables then switch between them via remote?

I have a good home cinema system, but for the PS4 (and combined move to new house), I'm buying a new 55" Smart TV and new home cinema system.
Haven't begun my search yet but wondered if it was something they had.

Could really do without changing the lead 10x a day between PS4 and TV.

Not a big deal but prefer to have setups that can just stay as they are

Is any info out for actual day people will get the consoles, will the consoles be shipping on the 29th so they are with people on saturday or monday, or should they be shipping on the 28th or 27th to get to customers by 29th? and are zavvi any good usually for preorders?

My Amazon order has a dispatch date of 27/11/13.

Although I have concerns that when ordered I had Amazon Prime. Now I don't (haven't since August) yet my order still says '1st class is Free with Prime'

So i'm hoping it doesn't revert to super saver at the last minute.
