Is this sexual harassment

I once said "you look nice today" to a girl at college when she wore hotpants for the first time ever.

Never saw her in hotpants again. :(

Managed to get her to feel my abs though so it probably wasn't due to my advances.

I couldn't care less if someone complimented my partner. I imagine it's the same with most people.

I'm pretty sure at least 78% of GD wouldn't know sexual harrasment if it was squeezing their bums and calling them darling.
 
Basically the only reasons you'd tell a girl she looks nice is because you'd like to **** her, you're being sarcastic, or you're gay and genuinely think she resembles a pretty flower.

So for which reason do you want to say she looks nice?

There's a girl in my office that is hot, and I often say 'Looking goood ;)' she knows why I'm saying it and tbh I think she appreciates the fact that if she hits a dry spell there is always someone to fall back on, and if that ever happens I'm ready and waiting. Either that or she thinks I'm gay :p

To be in a situation where you say this to a girl though you kind of have to know her and therefore know how she will react to such a compliment. You shouldn't say it to a girl at work that you've only ever looked at, rather than also spoken to.

No, it is a compliment.

As long as you don't deliver it as a come on or say it in a sexually charged manner then there shouldn't be any sexual harassment.

Not in my book, there was this girl at my place of work that didn't usually dress up but once she turned up in a tight pencil skirt and high heels. I was walking past her was she was walking towards me and i was taken aback, i just couldn't help but blurt out

"Damn!! You look gooooood today!!"

She gave me a huge smile and said thanks!
