7970, 13.9 drivers.

hi guys & girls,
i have a sapphire hd 7970 oc edition, and i've just had to update my drivers to 13.9 as i have the new battlefield 4 and it didn't recommend i play it on the drivers i had previously.

but since drivers 13.9 on i have masses of coil whine. i used to get it a bit before but now it's really bad.
i didn't think drivers would cause this kind of problem?
any recommendations?

also, if no solution is found, will it be ok if i just leave it as it is, or in the long run will this damage my card?

whilst on the subject of coil whine. my psu which is a seasonic m12 2 (i think)
also has coil whine after playing a game or being under load for a while. it's only recently started doing this and if i tap the back of it, it'll then stop for a while. should i be concerned?

Why 13.9?? They is 13.10 WHQL out and 13.11 beta 8 out

when i went on amd's site and searched drivers, i could only see 13.9?
i'll have another look shortly.

I'll download the beta drivers you mentioned when I get home.

And yeah, it is strange how there not listed on AMD's site.

Make sure to remove 13.9 first dont install over the top.
