Looking for something that will run bf4 on med-high settings, have windows 7 and 8gb G.skill ram I could reuse.

This look any good? Could go up to £750 i guess :)

Do you really need the DVDRW? Only thing I would be very wanting to change on that build is a GPU with 3GB VRAM. I haven't played BF4 yet (work) but been reading that it wants VRAM!

This is a great deal. Great thread in the Graphics Card section with info on how to overclock it and it's near 7970 performance. R9 280X is sort of a rebranded 7970 just to give you an idea
 
Get the K CPU, BF4 seems to be pretty CPU intensive.

I would also recommend trying to get a copy of Windows 8, as BF4 seems to run much better on it.
 

It's just a plain 7870, I thought it was an LE, it's not :(


SSD in this and it'll be the better gamer in BF4 due to the GPU

Alternatively, wait for the 290 non-X this week, if it comes in at £350, without the SSD you could probably stretch to it. That card would give you ultra performance in BF4. The 7970 Matrix overclocked will get you just to about 60fps/1080p at ultra with AA. You're also guaranteed Mantle support in December.
