Seems like a global thing. You crashed, I crashed and my mate on Mumble crashed. All of us on different servers.

OR WERE WE! O_O
 
The campaign on this is very very cheesy and predictable, but also somehow totally awesome - I'm really enjoying it. The multiplayer keeps crashing - just about 5 mintues ago everything went - I take it this is not just me?
 
I'm getting peed off. Server crashing on me 3-4 times a day out of the 5-7 games i play. Rubber banding everywhere, loss of sound, loss of items and points etc... i really hope they fix this s*** its doing my head in!!! :mad:

There are still issues that are stopping HC servers showing as HC in the server browser. They show as custom. Still waiting for Dice/EA to fix this properly.

We have 1 server set to the new BF4 HC preset and 1 set similar to BF3 HC preset.
 
More maintenance...

All BF4 Servers will be Offline for planned maintenance for up to 1hour, starting 10AM CET / 2AM PST

Golmud is far too open and not a lot to do. I can see this being the 'Tehran highway' of BF4.

Still not played all the maps either but level 4 now after one nights play. Some of the starting weapons are LOL worthy with their recoil. Unlocked a 3.4 sight for the Chinese Engineer weapon and it was way worse. Can't wait to unlock some new guns. Also managed to unlock AA missiles on the Scout choppers which fly way better and are very nimble. I was our turning a Viper in the Z11 and taking them down. Can't wait to unlock the anti-vehicle cannons.

I hate both the starting smg weps can't wait for a decent assault rifle or carbine
 
After spending a while getting used to the weapons,movement etc yesterday I think its starting to come together. Had some much better rounds late afternoon and last night with a few guys (nexus,kiwi,combat, crappy etc)

A squad working together can really turn the game your way and it really adds to those points too.

That attack boat is immense and wreaks havoc if you've got a gunner each side. Unlocked the tv but havnt used it yet , i'll try that today. Paracel Storm is my favorite so far and i thought the one with the tank factory has potential for some epic battles around those 3 central flags.

edit. As nexus says it ran much better on 32/48 player as most crashes happened on 64
 
something weird with steam going on though

exited BF4 - and my Steam client is sitting at 30-40% load on all 4 cores ?? with no game or anything open ??
 
New keyboard today, red mx cherry switches so hopefully my fingers aren't going to be as cramped now :p

Is the HE shell not better though? More damage and the drop I don't find to be too bad.

yeah Nexus Im enjoying Battlefield 4 more and more, when it doesn't crash obviously. Im useless at it though. I just like the feel of the game as opposed to the last one which I didn't get on with at all. BC2 fan you see. But B4, feels a lot more like BC2 I think. So wait for the issues to be ironed out, should be one to enjoy more and more
 
I have only played a few hours so far and have just hit lvl 6 some people cant have gone to bed as I saw a lvl 25 last night. Another pain in clan stacked servers with no hope of winning.

had a check via battlelog and there's people over level 50 already :eek:

Level 50 That's hard to believe, I am only level 47 in BF3.
