It was always going to on the current gen when the focus has shifted to getting the game on next gen to look as close to the PC as possible

Me too, very much looking forward to it.
As an aside, anyone getting this for XB1 who likes playing as a proper group, feel free to add me to XBL. Would be nice to play with people I know rather than randoms.
Nope though I'm feeling frustrated having to wait another 3-4 weeks before I can play it on PS4. I just hope I manage to get my console on release day and don't have to wait longer!

My comment was more aimed at the internest saying how it looked worse, and bland.
I had a few fun but frustrating games last night, tierd and fed up didnt help, then had a good Domination round this morning.
Nope, I have zero interest in playing this game on the current-gen, it looks awful by comparison. If I need a Battlefield fix until that time, there's BF3.
Must say, quite looking forward to the upgrade to PS4 version!
But I needed practice - especially on vehicles.
Doesn't help they changed the control layout. I know I can change it back, but I'm honestly not sure which is better...
Hope the control scheme doesn't change between PS3/PS4.

They are swapping the trigger, so currently R1/L1 is ADS/shoot but it will be R2/L2 on the PS4 because of the new triggers.
I have my setting on BF3 style now, but even thats swapped already.
That's really annoying.... going to have to get used to all over again!
I hope there are plenty of official (not rented) servers on Xbox One, random dick admins on PC are starting to annoy me already.

there are always plenty of DICE unadmined servers running vanilla rules on console. One of the best things about console
Not on BF3 there wasn't, on the PS3 version anyway. Finding decent hardcore EU servers is always a hassle.
I spent a lot of time on bf3 multiplayer, I really enjoyed it. I haven't pickd yhis up for 360, and tbh I wasn't aware it was out already... the marketing for this wasn't as big as bf4?
Going to hold out to see what the xbox one brings, conveniently my xbox gold runs out on the 26th this month..
