If you had 15K what car would you choose and why?

Surely to god the question needs at least some quantifying variables?

What do you want out of a car? Is it a direct replacement for the E46, or are you wanting a different class of car? Is fuel economy a concern? Does it have to be x years old or younger? etc etc etc

Asking what car to spend £15k on is a bit like asking where to go on holiday for £1000. Plenty of options that won't suit everybody.

Direct replacement for the E46 I like the Toyota GT86 too

It's not really though is it?

Anyway, for £15k if I was buying something today / tomorrow I'd probably spend a bit less and pick up a sportback (if possible) S3 as I like them but they're a bit old to spend quite that much on. Or if you made me spend all the cash I'd have something like a 135i coupe( or 335 I guess), again just because I fancy one

But then I don't really need lots of space (but do need some back seats ideally), don't really care about economy and couldn't realistically stomach the running costs of anything a bit more tasty
