Any HD 7870 Card: BUT WHICH ONE IS BEST

As the title may suggest, which HD 7870 is the best! I've already made a similar post but it wasn't really set out correctly, so which HD 7870 GPU is the best? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

In actual fact, the 7870XT is the best but that's not in stock.

Do you have a decent cpu / psu?

There are better cards for not much more, budget depending of course..

It's a good card, though I personally would want a card with a better cooler than that (though that 'might' be adequate to be fair).

Yep, providing he has the cpu to drive it (& budget), for not much more the HIS 7950s would be a great buy.

A 7870/270X is much better than a GTX 660.

The R9 270X offers very similar performance to a 7950.

So to say the 7950 destroys the others is very wrong.

The 7950 would muller it on the demanding stuff..... And similar isn't the same as 'same as'

With the HD 7950 I'm about £16 short at the moment and the offer ends soon so that is out of the question unfortunately :-(

But what is the 270x like compared to both the 7870 and the 660 SC?

A little faster than the 7870 in most situations iirc.

The 270X is a slightly higher factory clocked 7870 GHz edition (both core and memory), otherwise basically the same.

I might just stay with the the super clocked 660 as I get AC4 and Splinter Cell free! Should I definitely do this or not?! I'd also like to point out that the delivery cost for me (maybe not you guys because you're all veterans of this page!) is £9 so a lot of the time it makes me go over my budget, which is really annoying!

The 660 is not in the same league as the 270X. It competes with the 7850.

If you can push it up, the HIS 7950 with free delivery at £186? It's the best card around below £200 by some way.

I really can't! I would need an extra 15 quid, it may not sound like much but I'm a 16 year old with income apart from birthday and allowance! So really either a 660 Super clock at 1042mhz or a HD 7870 is as high as I'm gonna be able to go unfortunately! I still need to get my CPU being the FX 6300 and I hope to get the build done by the beginning of December

The 270X is your best option then. Faster than a 7870 a little, and starts at £150.
