I redeemed my key in my Trion account and it says Digital Deluxe version if that helps, although I haven't downloaded it yet.

I just signed up today and still got the free game so I don't think it was restricted to the weekend event, although it says in the email that they codes are only valid until November 4th, mine still worked fine.
