Hey guys. I bought a cool it vantage 2 years ago and has recently exploded(as per my other thread). I'm looking to buy a refurb h100. I have a tj07 case so can fit it in the top. However I can only mount fans one side of the rad as the mobo has a metal plate stopping a 25mm diameter fan being attached.

So what I'm trying to ask is do you guys do a thinner diameter fan. I.e 120x120x10 ?

Is this for push pull, it doesn't really benefit greatly a few degrees at most

Yeah, not a lot of point, also it's likely that the important parts of the fan will be less reliable and less powerful. I'd imagine a single set of Scythe AP-15's will have better static pressure (Important for radiators and heat-sinks) and CFM than two sets of 10mm thick fans.;)

Also, I'm not actually sure you can get fans as thin as 1 centimetre. Pretty sure there are 15mm ones though, however scarce.;)

Do you mean having one fan above the other or two fans side by side on the radiator?

If it were me I'd have two fans in pull as it makes cleaning easier if it is mounted on top of the case.

It would be no better than just having a single 120mm x 120mm rad in push/pull, that's actually a rather ludicrous idea. XD

Don't do that, just get a H80i.

Anyway, if you were doing that you could have either a push or a pull setup as you make it seem like there's enough space to get two standard size fans in across from each other and a radiator in there. Like this:
