I'm on a rather low budget so this won't be anything great but here's what I have so far. Looking for any advice or recommendations on the system.

Processor - AMD A10-5800K Black Edition 3.80GHz (Socket FM2) APU Trinity Quad Core Processor (AD580KWOHJBOX)

Motherboard - ASRock FM2A75 Pro4 AMD A75 Chipset (Socket FM2) DDR3 ATX Motherboard

PC Case - Aerocool Xpredator X1 Midi Tower Case - Black/Red

Hard Drive - Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST1000DM003) HDD

Power Supply - OCZ CoreXtreme 500w '80 Plus' Power Supply

RAM - I'm going to be using the RAM from my old build. (8GB)

Atm it's going to cost me around £320 which is around my budget.
Do I need to add anything to the system such as a better CPU Fan or anything else?
Looking for any opinions on the system before i buy it.

Thanks for the reply.
The system is going to be mainly used for Gaming and Minor graphics editing.

I love the Case you recommended, definitely picking that one but can I just ask, how come the different motherboard? Is that one better or just cheaper for the budget?

The mobo has a better chipset so you can OC the onboard graphics to it full potential, but will depend on how fast your ram is.

I don't remember exactly what the RAM I have is so I'm not sure if it would be good enough or not.

Does this tell you anything useful?

Memory slots
Total memory slots 4
Used memory slots 2
Free memory slots 2
Memory
Type DDR3
Size 8192 MBytes
Channels # Dual
DRAM Frequency 400.0 MHz
CAS# Latency (CL) 6 clocks
RAS# to CAS# Delay (tRCD) 6 clocks
RAS# Precharge (tRP) 6 clocks
Cycle Time (tRAS) 15 clocks
Command Rate (CR) 2T
Physical Memory
Memory Usage 41 %
Total Physical 8.00 GB
Available Physical 4.65 GB
Total Virtual 16 GB
Available Virtual 12 GB

Would you recommend that I get better RAM if I'm not getting an external Graphics card?

The Ram info,
Type DDR3
Size 4096 MBytes
Manufacturer A-Data Technology
Max Bandwidth PC3-10700 (667 MHz)
Part Number
Serial Number 0000CBD5
Week/year 37 / 11
SPD Ext. EPP

Well that is RAM is 1333mhz..

If you are 100% not getting a GPU, yes.. but its £65 on RAM, which (for an extra £100) would get you a pretty decent GPU..

Would you mind recommending a Good cheap GPU for me, hopefully around the £100 price range?

Is the RAM that bad? I mean, would it affect my System greatly? I do use the PC for Gaming and sometimes a lot of multitasking. I could probably raise the Budget by a bit if I need to upgrade the RAM and get a GPU.

Only reason I didn't pick out a GPU is because I've read that the Processor's onboard graphics card can play most games on Mid/high Graphic settings. (Just noticed that it also recommends high speed Memory. ^^)

Real question is, If i get a GPU, Should i still upgrade my RAM or is it not completely necessary?

I think your build is ok. The main problem is your RAM - the APUs massively benefit from fast RAM. For normal CPU/discrete GPUs RAM speed doesn't matter so much as the RAM on the discrete GPU is insanely quick anyway. If you get a discrete GPU your RAM will be fine.

The A10 can play a lot of games reasonably well, but it really shines on value if you get an A10-6800k and crossfire it with a Radeon 7750. Do you know what games you want to play and what resolution is your monitor?

Also, if you can wait until early 2014 AMD are expected to launch the new lineup called Kaveri - which may perform similar to the new consoles. We don't really know yet though.

If not you could try to stretch to something like this:

YOUR BASKET
1 x AMD A10-6800K Black Edition 4.10GHz (Socket FM2) APU Richland Quad Core Processor (AD680KWOHLBOX) £109.99
1 x TeamGroup Vulcan GOLD 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-19200C11 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit (TLYD38G2400HC11CDC01) £65.99
1 x Gigabyte F2A85XM-D3H AMD A85X Chipset (Socket FM2) DDR3 micro ATX Motherboard £61.99
1 x Zalman Z9 Plus Tower Case with Fan Controller - Black £49.99
1 x Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache - OEM (ST1000DM003) HDD £47.99
1 x XFX Pro 450W Core Edition '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply £39.95
Total : £390.00 (includes shipping : £11.75).

Then save up a bit and buy one of these:

Or Idleman's build above, which is much better than this :-(

Thanks a lot for both of your replies.

Just not sure which build to take now.

I play a crap load of varied games such as Skyrim, Dota 2, BF3, Secret World (MMO), Dead Island and I could go on ^^
I'm on 1920 x 1080 Resolution atm and play most of the games on that resolution.

I would definitely recommend Idleman's second system, i'm not going to spec anything because i'm sure it would end up being the same. The guy knows his stuff. :)

It will perform far better than any APU based alternative which has been put forward.
