In just over 10 days I'll be moving to the USA. One of the PC's I'm taking with me (a micro PC), has a three pin connector on it for it's external power block. I'm assuming I might need to get a UK to USA adaptor that also has an earth pin?

Anyone know where to get one, IF this is the case?

EDIT: Actually I think I found a more straightforward alternative: http://www.amazon.com/3-Prong-Lapto...3507368&sr=8-4&keywords=cloverleaf+power+lead
Just buy a power cord I need to plug into the power supply.

Check your voltage inputs as the us operates 110V mains where as we have 220V in the uk.

Some power bricks take both some dont, you can get a little step up transformer for $10-20 if your PSU doesnt support it

If kit needs a transformer, I'm not taking it. This in particular can take 100 to 240V, so it's fine.

99% of hardware can make the trip across the atlantic without issue - just check the input voltages to be sure.

I can't remember the last bit hardware I bought that couldn't be used in both the UK and USA,
