Any non-game specific clans out there that are mostly OCUK members? I'm in the steam group but clearly comms etc on it is fairly limited.

Seen plenty of clans mentioned but most seem to be fairly dedicated to a specific game..

The Steam group is the closest you'll get really. There are game specific clans, but not general purpose, at least not with the OcUK badge. Maybe ask Goon about joining TFU? Not sure what exactly they play these days...

TFU seem to be catered to three games (BF4, DayZ and Arma), and they label themselves as a Battlefield specific clan, but they haven't been a specific Battlefield clan since BF2 i think, they've been floating around games since then, so i would give them a bell.

If that fails, then adding random OcUK people is your best bet.

there are no official clans for ocuk just groups who post on here.

before joining i would game on a few of the servers they frequent before doing anything else. some are okay some are well lets just say not okay :p

We've been solid in Battlefield since BC2, we won two iseries events in BF3 and hope to do the same in BF4 :D

Problem is tho, hype dies down and members start to play other things. Personally i'm looking forward to standalone where as my fellow clan leader is all for BF4 competitive. So as you said, plenty for everyone in TFU.

That's what i meant, i didn't mean for it sound like you weren't a Battlefield clan, because at heart you are, it's what it says in the description for the clan, but i remember you mentioning when i was a member, that the clan was drifting around games, it never really settled. It was around the time when you went back to WoW iirc.

Hey man,

What games do you specifically play?

I float a fair bit between games, why is why I was asking about a non-game/genre specific one :D

I have a feeling there's going to be a demand for an OCUK type Star Citizen one for example, but I can see the steam group proving to be the best route for that.

Yeah I know that pal. I do think tho that had we started in 2005 when BF2 came out we would have only been a BF2 clan only as that game was amazing haha!

Lol WoW, my word I wish i'd not been talked into playing that... sucked my life dry for months!!

But yeah tbh I've found that if you play in a closely knit clan chances are you'll end up playing what the majority play.

Funny you should say that about Star citizen, we've already got a thread up about that game. I know that quite a few of us will be jumping into that on release. Not to mention a large number of older members lurking who wanted to play Jumpgate evolution, but never could for obvious reasons.

Wes' is right tho, we do jump between games. In between triple A titles we play a large number of different games.

What id say Halfmad is just use our TeamSpeak as it suits you, jump on have a laugh/game what ever, no pressure, no hoops to jump thro.

..... That applies to anyone from OCUK, please feel free to use the team speak:

most people just add people on here to battlelog and steam and just follow not join groups.

I've had a lot of people add me since the BF4 beta, but since joining a Guild in SWTOR, like Goon said, is a much better experience, as in my experience, i still feel like a lone wolf in BF4, but with being in a Guild in SWTOR, i feel part of a tight community.

Is it just a matter of adding people to your friends list in bf4 then?

i'd like a few more people to play regualr games with as above it is just more enjoyable to play wit a tight group of people.

Goon you guys got a steam group too? might sign up on the website, be nice to get involve a bit anyway even if my gaming is rather restricted these days

I've always added whatever TFU players and OcUK players to BF4 (and BF3) that I saw on here... Also added a few BnB (Beer n Bullets) after playing lots on their server... Like mentioned above its not always what you play, but where and who you play it with.

I've got a group of friends I met online back in 1997-2003 playing UT'99, played many other games with them and now they're scattered all over... I'm hoping to drag some of them into BF4, but quite hard when they're scattered over so many different games!

I've played all of BF3 (and now continuing into BF4) with an OcUK tag on, gets some comments (usually "you work for ocuk?") but hopefully more memorable than just 'Player1262964'.

Having been playing with the TFU guys for the past couple of days, I can honestly say it's so refreshing being back in the 'serious but friendly' space again. All top quality folks and had a great laugh.

I've never been in a clan, I'm gash as hell but wouldn't mind giving it a crack when they fix the game.

Any clan recommendations? Want a decent group, not a bunch of kids screaming.
