As title really! Looking for some ideas, need to get a car and got about £4.5k to spend.

What you guys reckon!? :)

Ha. Well I was thinking of an E46 318/325, always been a BMW fan. Was just seeing what other alternatives there might be as I've not really looked at anything else or know much of anything else.

Thanks for the "suggestions" lads haha.

Whats the general consensus on Audi TT's? Any good? Many problems? Seen a nice looking 04 plate 1.8 turbo 6 speed in my price range. Looks like it ticks all the boxes.

FSH, around 85k mileage or less, 4 seats preferably coupe.

Would like leather interior, seats that fold down so I can fit my bike in is a huge plus (E46 can't do this unfortunately). Well looked after obviously, something that's reliable enough and not known to have lots of issues (this I don't know about the Audi?).

I'm only going to own it for a year and then sell it (leaving the country) so hopefully something I'm not gonna have to spend *too* much on, so good tread on tyres and no looming expensive services would be nice.

Something not too boring either, around the 8 second 0-60 mark etc. Have considered E46 325 (number 1 contender really), E86 Z4 (so nice, but impractical! And lookin at bottom of pile for 4.5k), Nissan 350z, and now the Audi TT.

I don't need the rear seats often, I don't have any children or anything (was considering the Z4 after all), but it would definitely be a bonus. Can get mates in the car, little brother for days out etc. Luckily he is 6!

Not basing this on anything but the Mondeo just seems a bit boring! Maybe way off the mark? Dunno, just doesn't seem to appeal to me.
