Hey I am thinking of building a PC.

My budget is £1000, does anyone have any suggestions?
I would like the best gaming PC for that price, be it pre-built or in bits.

Any help would be most grateful.

P.S What card is better the Nvidia GTX 760 or the ATI Radeon HD 7950?

Can you list what bits and bobs you need for the £1000?

Monitor, operating system, keyboard etc etc.

You can fit a 7970 in that price range!
I would spec but am on my phone, so will ask the usual questions to help others.

Do you need an OS?
Do you need a monitor, if not what do you have?
Do you need peripherals, keyboard/mouse?

Building yourself is a much better route to go down as well.

Oh Stulid!

Here is an example of a tower only.

It is a bit over budget but has a 250gb SSD and a 2tb HDD, if you feel that the space isnt worth the extra. Motherboard coems with a free CPU cooler too, so you are ready to start clocking!

1 x Sapphire Radeon R9 290 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £319.99
1 x Intel Core i7-4770K 3.50GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail £275.99
1 x Samsung 250GB SSD 840 EVO SATA 6Gb/s Basic - (MZ-7TE250BW) £142.99

*Edit to add RAM*

Scrap 2 tb and get a smaller HDD and SSD or cheaper case and fit these into budget because i must have accidentally deleted the RAM.
