School kids ringing my doorbell

IMO, if you go out and yell at them etc they will find it funny and keep coming back. I'd go to the school and report it there saying how distressing it is to you when they do that.

a solution would be wire the bell to the mains.

Or put white (or whatever colour your doorbell is) paint on the button so they get it all over there hands (like that anti-vandal paint)

Ignore it, they are kids. They'll get bored eventually and move on to someone else or something else.

They are looking for a reaction and if you give them that, that's gonna be it. They'll never leave you alone and they'll drive you crazy to the point you really do use one of the dangerous and crazy but worthwhile suggestions on some of the previous posts.

Some mornings, a group of school kids would ring my doorbell en route to school then run away at lightning speed.

I know who they are, as I have some CCTV images of them running away from my door.

What should or could I do about them?

stand where they run to and shout "DID U JUST RING MY BELL"

or get set on fire for CCTVing kids!
