Fifth 1440p monitor on its way...

Well, I've had two dells and two viewsonics so far and all have been shoddy! The first dell was particularly abysmal for backlight bleed and one of the viewsonics failed completely. Please let this fifth one be decent!

And people say DGM has issues? My DGM 1440p is so far flawless

Just shows what a total lottery it is buying a monitor. I'm not quite sure how they get away with such appalling quality control.

Agree. It sickens me they get away with it too.

I have two DGMs, i must be rather lucky. Both are perfect, one had one or two stuck pixels here and there, but they've sorted themselves out now. Still running great.

Its one of the reasons I usually buy Samsung panels, not really got much experience of Viewsonics but Dell QC seems an after thought at best.

The viewsonic actually uses a Samsung pls panel I believe, same one is also in the Asus I think. Backlight bleed is more related to how well the unit is put together though.

Well, looks like it's going to be six! First one I've had with minimal backlight bleed but this one has a huge black line across the screen! Getting rather annoyed with this whole debacle now :mad:

Another monitor delivered and the worst yet. Bent stand, screws loose, bits fallen off and terrible backlight bleed! Looks like it was salvaged from a skip! Some advice, don't buy viewsonic!
