Hello
I purchased a Asus z87-A board and i decided to get it with the Corsair vengeance 2133 1.65V ram but my question is if the RAM would be compatible with the motherboard (It should but im not 100% sure) and the CPU which is the Intel core i5 4670K ? as apparently the recommended RAM voltage for the CPU should be under 1.65V or something like that ?:(

I still haven't unsealed the RAM so i should be able to return it to where I ordered it from.

Could someone please help me ?:)
Im building a pc for the first time in my life,so I dont know much about components and overclocking ect.

The RAM is compatible.

Fit it and load the XMP profile in the BIOS which will set the RAM up correctly for you.

But wont that void Intel's warranty ,cause this guy on internet had to warranty his CPU and because he used a 1.65V RAM it voided his warranty ? and isn't that 1.65V going to damage the CPU ?

1.65v is safe, it wont void your warranty, its the voltage you are feeding into the RAM not the Vcore going into the chip.

Ok thanks but why does Intel then say to use RAM under 1.65V otherwise its going to damage the CPU or something like that ? (That's what says in the motherboard manual )
