I agree with Stulid, I ignore the Antec 300 as much as I do the Merc Alpha & Beta or the Outlaw from Bitfenix.

The 200R isn't a bad case at all but can still limit some coolers, he said it will be out of sight so I don't think the Ronin and it's large window is the best choice either (case is personal preference mind). I went with the 330R as it's soundproofed....so not seen or heard. It can take 240mm rads but then you have to open the top which will defeat the soundproofing some what (like the Bitfenix Ghost which has no lid)

I don't think I'll be recommending 290/290X GPUs with the reference cooler, every review says they are hot and loud. Better to wait and see what the likes of Asus, GB, MSI etc do with their cooling solutions.

I also agree with Stulid, but I think the GPU is down to the OP and his ears. Yes we know they run hot but AMD have stated that they are designed to cope at 95C as for the noise I can perfectly understand, but its down to the OP to choose performance improvements over the R9 280X but put up with jet engine next to him or not.

We're all agreed tho that the vendors will do a much better job at cooling these things and make them quieter (not to mention much better looking).

there are some great builds here but i think people need 2 remmber that the Sapphire Radeon R9 280X Toxic OC 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Card wont be in stock for anther month :(

Now now fellas, lets not completely ruin my thread ;)

Is there any benefit from 2011 over 1150? (ignoring the small cost differences)
