I know there's campers in every CoD but it seems to me there are a hell of a lot more in this game.

Not moaning because I get killed by them which I do but I was just playing kill confirmed and a player went 25/11 and only had one tag!

Even in Cranked there seem to be a lot of them.

I like the game because if I have a straight up fire fight and I get the first shot in 9 out 10 times I get the kill. In Black Ops 2 that wasn't the case.

Is it because its a new game and people aren't used to the maps yet?

People are scared to move because the maps are crap and you can be shot from any angle.

is it me or do the new dedicated servers suck ass for lag when people leave and join? it's lag tactic and ****ing me off.

There is no dedicated servers. The host quit a game earlier and it migrated over to a new one.

Yeah they are way to big. I don't know where I'm getting shot from half the time.

I've resorted to playing infected a lot.

They've obviously been designed with 9v9 ground war on next gen in mind and didn't want to go down the battlefield route of having different sized maps for different game modes

Does it take you half an hour to get out of the shackles? :D

I was wrong. I'll admit it. BUT you still need a p2p system in place even with dedicated servers just in case they go down. I've not really had any problems with lag so far anyway.

Apparently dedicated servers will be turned on when ps4/x1 versions are out.

What's the point in that? Why not put them out now on fewer systems to get them more stable?
 
I still like it, I like the warehouse map, the jungle one, the one with the tracks and overlord.

Like the long lines of sight. Not sure how relevant those marksman rifles are. Did they replace lmgs?

I thought that might be the crack. They've been withholding them for years which makes me wonder why it's suddenly being offered to current gen in a week or two.

I guess there is bound to be a system in place that reduces 360 servers as XB1 demand goes up.

It's probably working ok for you at the moment, but it's no doubt based on MW3s and I've seen and heard familiar not so good things about it already.

Speaking of which it had an almost or zero cost theatre system based on only the client data normally received from the server.
 
About 6hrs on Team Death Match so far.
I'm really enjoying it, maps are harder to learn than previous CoD games and a lot less camper friendly.
I'm loving the character customization.

Not tried any other game modes yet, not touched story mode either, too busy enjoying TDM.

I agree, it does seem suspect that MW2 was good, then every game with theatre was ****, Ghosts no theatre and feels like MW2 netcode. Only played last night and while one night isn't enough to draw a solid conclusion it does feel a lot better. In about 20 or so games last night only had two bad ones, one lagged out completely and the other was insta-death but the rest were good. I have to say I am impressed that they have got the p2p netcode right, just hope the netcode for when the servers come in is equally as good.

Yeah, was fun last night when basically our whole team was using them :D

Haha yh, apart from I didn't have one :( Played a couple of games after you left last night and got enough squad points to unlock it. I didn't realise it came with a acog/sniper scope though so I am useless with it and don't have enough squad points for a different sight. Though it does seem stupid that I have to use squad points to be able to use iron sights on it. Oh well, iron sights and burst fire and I think it will be a beast of a gun.

Is there a stupidly overpowered gun in this one yet (like the AK74u was in one of the previous cods)?

You mean like the M16 in MW2, the AK47u in Blops, the Type 95 and FMG9's in MW3 and the pistols in Blops2 :p I will say yes there probably is though I don't know what it is. The IA2 we were using last night is a beast of gun and kills quickly but being a single round semi auto rifle the trade off for high damage is the need for acuracy. Whether that balance is correct, or if there is a gun that stands above the rest yet to find out.
