Movember 2013 - Who's in?

I have even more reason to do it this year as my colleague and good friend's father has just been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Oh no !

I know it's for a great cause, but I don't think I could lose mine and I've only had it for just over a year....
 
Is it totally frowned upon if you do the beard thing and say shave it leaving a Mo for a couple of days at the end of the month? Its a good cause but I am vain and don't want to look like a knob for too long!

The looking like a knob is part of the raising awareness, it stands out more. So yes it is a little bit.

Man up and grow an awesome moustache. If you can't do that, then grow a rubbish moustache and when people say you look like a knob, tell them you're doing it to raise awareness for a problem that affects thousands, while also raising money to help those people. Then tell them they're knobs and to donate to the cause as penance.
 
Well my beard came off this morning and it friggin hurt something shocking. Something to do with using a slightly rusty disposable that I had lying around from last year. I'll be heading to the nearest supermarket on my way home to pick up some new blades I think, that is if any hair is left after being ripped out this morning.
 
Was in middle of my weekly shave when I ended up with a dodgy tache... Wife no impressed but I'm keeping it for the month :) Look like a Mexican porn star :)

Missus keeps calling me that too, among other things.

Its safe to say, I look ridiculous already, and I love it!
 
It's coming to a week and I look like a Chinese Triad Villian, with alopecia. Damn genes for facial hair growth.

My work colleagues will be donating a group of us guys, they're donating to make sure we shave it off at the end of the month!
