Anyone in Guildford? Big flash at 8:20ish..

Was just on my way home coming through Guildford, and saw a big flash from towards the town centre. Nothing like a firework, and then my Car radio went on the blink for a couple of minutes.
I happened to call the Mrs at home and she said she had a brownout too.
Anyone else see this happen?
Any ideas what it was?
I presume some sort of substation blowout or similar?

Ok, so apparently I should use the term Voltage Sag, rather than Brownout, as it was for a split second, rather than a prolonged dip.
