*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

I don't have too much time to play games at the minute, so I'm not hugely affected by a limited release in terms of games.

I admit, it's underwhelming for both consoles that they've got such a small range of titles, I'm not entirely sure for the reason.

I'm happy with FIFA and another game at launch, for casual play when I've got ~20 minutes to an hour, but when I've got time to play I'll pick up some other games later, which should mean more titles available.

I think it's quite a low key release anyway, for both titles. Considering both consoles are out this month I've seen a lack of pushing advertisements.
 
I have a Killzone bundle pre-ordered from game that they will deliver on release day - they are asking payment in the next 10 days .

Question is do I or don't i ? Would I get my money back on flea bay if I sold it before Xmas ?
 
Project CARS to next gen - well theres a nice little shakeup if ever I saw one, I liked Shift so will look forward to what SMS can do...

In a similar position (we have an NZ equivalent to eBay) and I'm planning to cancel as by the time you have auction and PayPal fees I don't think there'll be much profit unless there is a real shortage of consoles. You might find yourself struggling to get RRP and actually losing money.

I had originally planned to keep the PS4 but there is nothing that really appeals to me enough other than Infamous and there's bound to be a bundle with that nearer the time by which point any initial hardware issues will have surfaced and there will be a few other games worth picking up.

Probably going to do the same with my XB1 preorder, it's only Forza that is making me think twice but one driving game shouldn't really be enough to make me buy a new console.
 
Am sure you be able to sell it in here or avfourms at rrp.
If you bought it to make a profit well you get no pity around here and get what you deserve

Mmm... My resolve to let my preorder slide into oblivion has suffered a setback this morning. I bought Super Stardust HD for the PS3, fired it up for a "quick go" and lost two hours I should have been putting to better use.

Suddenly Resogun is looking more seductive than ever. :-)
 
One thing I've noticed with the PS4, it doesn't appear to have any rubber feet for when it's lying flat. Unless the base is like a rubbery non-slip plastic, or you get sticky feet in a bag with the console, surely it's going to move about all over the place on a hard flat surface, or get scuffed up? :confused:
 
is it just me or does the logic board look... a little disappointing? I dont know just reminds me of what the inside of a calculator looks like some how, not quite as high tech looking as i was expecting!
