Confused - Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 4 Premium

Ok, so my excuse is I'm tired and have man flu.

Looking at the PC versions... you buy BF4 and BF4 Premium as separate items. Is this the same for Xbox, as I'm unable to find a BF4 Premium, that you would buy separately.

My brain isn't functioning today, anyone help me out.:confused::p
 
With BF3 on ps3 at least you bought bf3 then bf3 premium was available as a download from the psn store. Then your bf3 became the premium edition whether you bought it on psn or had the retail version.
 
Is the only option for PS4 users to pay £40 on PS Network for it then or are there bundles etc. to be had. I'm sure I was told in Game last week that the DLC packs were included with all formats except PS4. Kind of annoying if true.

Last year one year after release they sold a Premium edition which give's you a code to get premium, but all that does is give you premium status.

All versions have DLC if pre ordered, it's only one which is China Rising. then you either need to buy the others, or buy premium.

Xbox gets Second Assualt first, but the other DLC's will come at the same time, but 2 weeks early for Premium members.

Well you're in the wrong forum for a start.

But in answer to your question there are two versions of the game on PC. You can buy BF4 standard edition, and BF4 the digital deluxe edition.

Neither of these include premium membership. There is no premium edition of the game. The confusion arises from the way some shops are selling them as all of the pre orders come with the first of the premium expansion packs free. This is China Rising. So lots of retailers are selling "with free premium expansion pack" meaning the first of the 5 premium DLCs.

Buy the standard edition as cheap as you can, and then buy premium membership as cheap as you can. Use the Mexico Origin VPN trick thats detailed in the PC thread.

Hes talking about the Xbox version but what your saying is still right.
 
There is no console digital deluxe edition. Just standard which is where I thought the confusion came from.

As for his original point the premium membership has to be bought from the market place whereas the PC premium membership is sold all over the place by CD key sellers. Just need to find premium in the xbox marketplace
