Does anyone have the dimensions (and subsequent recommendations) for a 2002 mitsubishi spacewagon? (2 litre petrol).

Not sure the ones on at the moment are correct in terms of size and they are all mismatched and complete no name brands. Want to get a set of new tyres.

Due to the nature of the cars usage, I'm NOT looking for top whack tyres its completely overkill. I'd like cheap tyres without seriously compromising on safety.

Any suggestions? Thank you.

Aren't they 205/65R15? Try a tyre site that lets you search on reg number.

What do you call cheap? I got a set of Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance in 205/55 R16 fitted to my Mondeo diesel for £280, the difference in grip in the wet under heavy braking is astounding compared to the el-cheapo ditchfinders I had on it.

The good year efficient grip seems to be the defacto all rounder at present, either that or a conti premium 5, you won't go far wrong.

It really is a question of trying to keep the cost down,.

For example those ones you posted cost 415 euros delivered, whereas the cheapest (Star Performer HP 205/65 R15 94V) are 215 euros delivered.

If it was my car, with the way I drive, I'd splash for nicer, but it's not and the people have got a very low budget, and with the nature of their driving, I'm not sure more is particularly needed. :)

Are there any others that would be nearer 215 or 4 rather than 415 for 4?

Until that one time when the weather is a bit rubbish, and they are tired after a days work and maybe not paying 100 percent attention when someone pulls out on them. Not particularly needed until then. ;)
