*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

I think the PS3 one was made like that on purpose - I really dont know why, maybe to prevent it from being over tightened?!?

Wow! Its so well designed, I can't wait now.

The nearer it gets to release and new bits of info, videos get posted it will be a killer, you have to feel for japan not getting it until next year

Bring on the 29th Nov

Did Amazon UK sort out the delivery issue if you change payment? Looking to swap credit cards so I add extended warranty on the PS4...

I believe they did fix it.

This reminds me, still no estimated ship date on my order :(

Very worried now

I'm thinking I might swap out the 500GB HD and put in a bigger one from the get go to save me having to do it later :)

My pre-order still stands at shopto for PS4 and Killzone at £400, never got offered a bundle or anything but I'm noticing Killzone bundles popping up from as little as £375. I can also get discount at ASDA so I'm wondering if it might be worth queuing up at ASDA on release and trying to bag a bundle and get 10% in to the bargain!

Hmm what to do..

yeah samsung have just announced their first 2Tb 2.5" drive - The samsung M9T (released today)

Not sure whether to get that or go for a 1Tb SSHD hybrid thingy...... hmmmmmm

I changed my payment method during the issue, and mine was fixed 48hours later. Delivery estimate - 29th November.

Did my payment method change - delivery changed to 30th November. Getting no luck speaking to them over the phone - indeed they want me to pay more for delivery to get it back to the 29th :(

EDIT: Got there in the end, escalated it and the supervisor just dealt with it par for the course. Called my CC provider and warned them so Im good to go :D. I know its just one day, but I wasnt sure if a courier (assume its a courier for such an expensive item?) would deliver on a Saturday and tbh Id rather not watch you guys enjoy it while Im twiddling my thumbs...

any word on whether we need to stick with 5400rpm (due to heat) or are we safe to go ahead and order 7200rpm drives?

looking at the tear down vid - it does look like theres additional space to allow air to flow around the hdd, so it could be ok - however no guarantee!

Hence why I'm thinking an SSHD might be a better bet - performance slightly better than a 7200RPM drive without the additional heat/power requirements.
