still deciding on package atm pussycat, maybe someone could help me decide ? Its between the 325a arbiter package or the $100 hornet package.. , Fighting/support running/flying with friends/exploring is what i'm mainly looking to do at least at first :)
 
Cheapest hornet package is $110 btw :) Digital Colonal $125 if a newbie backer buys it

Names HybridX but thundy changed my name to pussycat after i called him one >.<
 
I got the digital freelancer package for $125.00 (kept looking back & forth at them all & opted for this one) anything I should do/need to know?

Im guessing your a new backer?

If So i can swap that around for lifetime hull insurance for you (free basic insurance on the ship). By doing this it will only cost $110 and you'll have $15 left over to spend on ships skins or whatever.

basically involves me melting your pledge and buying it as an original backer so you get the insurance then gifting it over to you.

If you want me to do this just trust me. Done it for 6 folks in here now without any issues :)

the 325 package is more of an all rounder. The hornet is a dedicated fighter so able to put out and take more damage but no or limited cargo
 
Just bit the bullet, purchased myself the digital bounty hunter pack, probably going to upgrade to the 325a later today.

edit: Okay, 325a upgrade purchased..

I'm seriously tempted to upgrade my 325a to the 350R when the sales come on. Although lighter and smaller armour, it is a rare ship and can have a bigger powerplant than the standard 300i and can mount all the same weapons as the 325a... If you reduce the speed to that of the 325a then you should be ok for the weapons but then you can divert to racer mode to escape if required...
 
I'm wondering if I upgrade my F7C Hornet to an F7C-S or an F7C-R whether or not I keep the LTI?

EDIT: just been on the forums. It will stay LTI, however, the upgrade hasn't been implemented into the hanger yet.

Really like the Hornet design but I'll stick with my Freelancer, I've always been more of a trader/explorer in games. I do think it's a cracking looking ship though :D Really nice that they're doing this Veterans day deal.
 
Argh still cant decide over the 325a and standard hornet, Love the 325a looks like it'll be deadly but will I regret getting that over the hornet? Not TOO fussed about cargo space as I can just get another ship with in-game monies for that. I don't want to end up in a 325a and getting blown up all the time , seeing hornets rolling around laughing
