Yes mate - medical grade steriwipes (of which I have thousands!) are perfect for cleaning the juice out of the top caps and removing fingerprints without scratching. The gauze is medical grade/sterile cotton that some have had great success with as wick for tighter coils (easier to cut/roll/feed through than the pleat), it doesn't need any prep (no need to boil as it's already sterile) and no taste (some have reported a taste from even pure, organic cotton). I included them as a little extra if you wanted to try it out.
The sterile gauze is also excellent for Uber-OCD level cleaning of atties - use it as you wish

.I'm made up by this - seriously pleased for you Yas. It only gets better from here - as you practice and bring the resistance down (as Majnu said), you'll find you can revisit juices and discover new flavours within them (seriously - try Simon's Apple Tart again on a 1.3ohm microcoil) as the coil heats and vaporises the juice faster & hotter. I'm getting an almost Apple Pop Tart taste now - my absolute weakness!

Well your little kit made it so much easier to do it but im definitely sticking with micro coiling now...found coiling and wicking with silica and ekowool too taxing for me lol. Once i finish this tank of raspberry off, ill try the GVC and kings custard and see how it vape.
Will go lower resistance wise once this coil is done and needs a new one, how long do these micro coils usually last??.

Methinks my KFL will become my all day/night vape as at the moment i use a protank during the day and the KFL at home, but havent used the KFL for a few days as i couldnt be arsed to coil and wick it using silica or ekowool lol.

The coils will last til they go pop, which is very rare anyway. The beauty with such a setup is if you're coils become gunked up, remove cotton, dry burn coil, (I dab mine in water too) and once the coil looks new again with all gunk removed just add more cotton which takes seconds and you're good to go. As long as you put the coil on securely in the first instance the resistance will remain the same.

And as Manju said, the coils can last for weeks, its really easy to swap flavours now as well.
Why dont you try recoiling your Protank now? lol

The world really is your oyster with coils. Mega, micro, nano, vertical, horizontal, dragon, Fish, Chicken, Cow (the list goes on and on) lol

Cotton wicks = the only thing I like to use now. It make everythign taste great and less of the throat ripping effect

@Majnu, is that even considered a coil, you have nothin in the centre of the coil, either way looks good.
I personally can't microcoil, i flame the wire, make a tight coil on a metal rod (3mm diameter), flame it and keep compressing it and I still have to stick to the normal amount of wraps, like 7 on 0.25 coil as the wraps don't full touch one another hard enough. The first time I managed to make a really good microcoil that pulsed and everything the resistance was like 2.8 ohms or something stupid. BAH.

I have exactly the same in my KF Mini works a treat, have a nano coil in my driper, but when I want a proper man Vape I still prefer 3 wraps of ribbon on a stainless mesh wick in my DID, IMO can't be beaten for throat hit vapor and taste. Horses for courses

Definitely going to re-visit the custard flavours i have and see how they vape on the micro coil.
LOL my 2 protanks have now gone into my drawer, cant see myself using them anymore...not that i have been using them. If anyone wants 2 protanks then they are more than welcome to have them, message me and if you pay the postage they can be yours.

Right so ive been hearing a lot of talk about these fancy GP paps 2.5 or something, so whats the deal with them...fancy getting myself one to see what its all about but it would be helpful if someone could explain the difference between the GP Paps and my provari..all i know is that the GP Paps is a mech mod but no idea as to what it means or does etc.

Craig might have mentioned (once or twice) that he has one - I seem to remember that he finds it quite satisfactory
Yep, and because it's a mech mod, no variable voltage (but less stuff between the battery and coil) and no minimum resistance for the coil. It's not a "screw on an atty and it'll blow your mind" device. You need to know why you want it to get it going great.

So unless i can get hold of a Russian 91%, some guy on facebook messaged me saying he might sell his...i might try and get a Rose instead.

Yep im gonna hang fire on it till i get a definite answer from the guy on facebook but now im hankering for the Rose atty as well lol. So going to need to decide which one to get, the rose atty is beautiful though.

why? the russian 91 also leaks from the bottom too, shares the same trait with the kayfun lite. Depending on how much you're getting it for go for the kayfun lite plus instead.
mechs are just an aesthetic and feel thing. But even though they all look the same you need to consider:
1. Thread quality
2. Switch quality including ability to add optional magnets
3. Locking mechanism
4. Quality of housing
5. Quality of contacts ( brass/rhodium/palladium plating is less prone to arcing, which is when your firing pin hasnt quite made contact but the current bridges the gap anyway)
6. Air flow if using bottom fed attys like a Boge
7. Adjustable top and bottom pins
8. Resettable Fuses
9. Style
If you want to have the style with the ability to have vv/vw you can get something like the hydra
