Hi All,

In a moment of idiocy I dropped my phone (and, thinking I might be able to save it, and break the fall a bit, it hit a concreted surface on the topright corner) and have shattered the LED screen.

The glass is absolutely fine, but the physically screen is smashed to smithereens.

Now I've no insurance (again, idiocy). Any ideas about what my options are, and how much it'll cost to replace? I'm on contract with EE with some 17 months left!

Did exactly the same to mine a couple weeks ago. General consensus seemed to be that it's definitely an insurance job so that's what I did.

Thank you.

Am I correct in thinking that I'll be looking at around £150.00 or so for a replacement screen?

I popped in to CPW who quoted '£180' but that some independent shops will do it for £100.00. The latter seems a bit low having seen how much the parts alone cost online?

I called Samsung and they replaced my LCD for £138 quid
Not worth going anywhere else unless its much cheaper
Still have warranty etc
