Has anyone ever wondered if valencia actually aims his crosses towards our players or just random slashes into the box?

I feel the same way, i could not believe the price they paid. I got a lot of grief from people on a different forum to this for saying it. He is good not great, still a good player to have in the team and has helped win games that they might have dropped points in previous seasons.Bah, Ozil is such a *****, no attempt to kick or head it, too scared. He might hit the floor if he tried to head it......
This is the reason for me that Real were pretty much right to get rid of him, for 40mil at least. A 40mil player should shine in the big games, not disappear. He's great but I don't think he's worth 40mil, no player who you would seriously consider benching for all the big games could be worth that much.
Thing is, anyone who has watched Real or Germany for the past 5 years knows this is who Ozil is. There is also a reason Mourinho didn't trust him to play 90mins or deliver in the big games(after a while learning he couldn't anyway).

It is odd isn't it? It's like he can't cross so he just smashes it.
Surely it can't be that hard to learn to cross?

I said it when it was just rumoured he might be leaving Real, I said it when we were supposed to be in for him and I said it when we bought him. Judging him against Norwich is silly, the problem was always how good he'd be against the top teams. He was barely involved against liverpool, rubbish against Dortmund, rubbish today. Even Germany in his break out cup he was really really poor against Spain, the only big game. He got a lot of credit for what was Muller's brilliance in that cup, it was the only game he didn't play.
he went for 15-18mil back then, and that is a fair price for someone you really would prefer on the bench against top 4-6 teams and in finals and the like.

His hair is awesome, if you don't agree, he'll cut you in half with his samurai sword.
He's always just smashed it, when he scored a goal that looked like a cross, it was just him smashing it, everything he does is just fluke. If you smash 100 crosses over a season, 10 will go somewhere useful, 5 will end up assists and you'll even get a goal or 2. He's pretty much rubbish.
