A friend and I has just had a debate :) he wants me to sell my 7970 and buy his 680 so I said mine was better, but he insisted his is better. We leave it to you guys, what are your thoughts ?
 
I just wanted to compare stock speeds because I havent got the rest of my parts to be able to use it :D, and he wants money for a 780
 
He wants some cash, of course he says it's better! :) I don't think you will see any real difference in games between the two if you ask me. Mantle is going to give extra performance next year with new drivers for your card so I would stick with the 7970.
 
The 7970 is better lol! But not by much. TBH hypothetically speaking even if it was the other way around and you was selling your 680 to buy his 7970 it would be extremely stupid as the performance gains wouldn't be enough to even be noticed in game. Talking couple of frames here and there. Sounds like your mate is desperate to get a 780, don't fall for his trickery!

If your going to get another graphics card take a step in the next gen not the last gen mate.
 
He knows better I won't sell my 7970, I've just recently bought it in offer when it was at £221.9, I'm so happy to see that it's now £320 :D
