ASUS Hero v Gigabyte Z87X-OC

I was going to buy the Hero for my new rig and throw in a 4770K.

But all the talk on here is of the Gigabyte board. I have only ever had ASUS before. But there isnt an Official Hero thread. there is a Gigabyte thread and its got over 400 replies on it.

Help me decide - Hero or OC?

Its personal Choice both are good boards the reason gigabyte is so popular is because of its features/cost ratio with the bonus of UK rma if needed also if memory server wright the gigabyte has a few more expansion slot although I could be wrong

I've got the Hero, fantastic board. great looks, great performance and had no issues.
My 4770k is happy @4.6 vcore @1.300

Is your mobo C2 stepping? I.E. no USB wake up issues?
