Skupples is a good lad and seems someone from AMD could be butthurt? Trying to spin some Nvidia rubbish for the world to grasp and then you get people jumping in and starting threads like "GTX 780 Ti Allegedly Being Suspended and Recalled in China - MASS BRICKINGS Due to Design Flaw"

A couple of posts on from Skupple's.

"That link is filled with foolish speculation from top to bottom jus like some of the posts here.

But they added a part at the bottom and it looks like we may now have the reasons why this happened.

Galaxy has recalled 55 of it's cards.

No mention of any other vendor and Galaxy is giving specific model numbers.

Wow, between this and the Hof burning, who would buy graphics cards from these guys?"

What link he's talking about i have no idea. So there could be some truth to it. 55 cards is nothing though.

I missed that bit about Galaxy recalling 55 cards? Can you link please.
 
TBH it balances out the unfair smear campaign against the 290s. There are multiple threads with titles like "how did AMD get it so wrong" and "AMD cherry picking" when both of those are pure rubbish. But Nvidia agents gleefully jump on them and make sure they're bumped to the top constantly.

Is that what this really comes down to? Wow this forum scrapes the barrel sometimes on fanboy wars but that is....
 
So it is confirmed that the "mass brickings" relate to 1 of 55 bad Galaxy cards then. But why did we get a picture of a burnt 7970. :confused:
