I want a blue and white theme as well as Bitfenix Alchemy extensions, mouse and keyboard is also included in the price. I would like a keyboard which is really easy to type much as i will be typing a lot more than im gaming.

I have already got an Alphacool NexXxus Xt45 Rad and i prefer the Corsair 540 air for a case

Okay then... I see how it is..

Anyway, OP. What size is the rad you have? 120mm/240/360mm?

Have you budgeted for a custom waterblock for your GPU too? As its not a reference design. A block for that will cost about £100.

Well, this is a good starting point:

YOUR BASKET
1 x Intel Core i5-4670K 3.40GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail £185.99

1 x Corsair Carbide 540 High Airflow ATX Cube Case - Black (CC-9011030-WW) £116.99
1 x XSPC D5 Dual Bay Reservoir/Pump Combo V2 £109.99

Total : £826.76 (includes shipping : £11.75).

To get a custom watercooled loop will cost you a fair bit more than an extra £900..

I haven't included any Hard drives or peripherals. If you don't want to cool the GPU it can be much cheaper, but it spoils my fun a bit. :)

this is what i was going for initially (red) but because the psu sits at the back of the 540air and the led load indicator on my gpu will be most like blue most of the time, i changed my idea to go blue :)

im not thinking about watercooling my gpu as it will probably psh my budget and ive not been able to find any waterblocks for the platinums :(, i have a 240mm rad by the way

and how do these fans compare with the corsair sp120's ?

great spec ethermaster but i want to go custom wc so i wont be needing a h100i :D. plus ive already bought a rad

Cheers guys :)

OP do you still want a blue build (because I can do blue if you really must but the GPU has red in its design) or the big tasty red thing that I posted above :p

Really love your spec Ethermaster :D, i dont think i will be seeing any of the red on my gpu as it will sit facing down as well as the led being blue most the time on the load indicator (by the way, is there some kind of mod to change the led on this) ?

I would really appreciate it if you can also do me a blue spec including a keyboard if you can fit it in the budget (something which will allow me to type very fast as i wont be gaming very much).

Thanks Ethermaster, really love your builds :D

thanks doomedspeed, will you recommend the 540 air over the 750D for custom wc, and does that keyboard have backlighting?

Id personally prefer the 750d.

They both take the same rads, though the 540 can hide the tube res.

Custom wc just for the CPU is a bit of a money pit. Twice as expensive as the h100. It'll take you a way out of your budget too.

Not sure on the keyboard backlighting. I think not...

i just took the step to custom wc my cpu due to the fun of it as well as the aesthetics :D, its costing me double the h100i but it will give me better temperatures and more flexibility in the future if i wanted to wc buy gpu
