Considering the point of the game he's at it should be easy to get it. Pop a few humanity and equip the Gold Serpent Ring and he should get it within the first 10 kills.

Poise-tanking the Four Kings in NG is a good (some would call it cheap) tactic. They should offer a much better challenge in NG+.

I don't know if I was overly powerful for them but I just had to dodge an attack or 2, switch to 2h and just went HAM on them.

Nope, it's not, but at least it's pretty short. Once you make it to the first bonfire in the area you can get to the boss in around 5 minutes if you don't stop to explore much (though you may want to as there are some decent items around).

If you have any points in Intelligence, having the Cast Light spell makes the area so much easier as you don't need to worry about carrying a light source with you.

I have absolutely no intelligence or faith. I just hit stuff.

Did get to the boss but died a couple of times. Will do it tomorrow.

Just before the boss, in the room with the 3 casters and all the tiny skeletons, do they spawn indefinitely? Very easy soul farming if so?

I believe they do spawn indefinitely...don't get much for them though do you? I can't remember

Tbh, I have been caught out more than once by them and they have swarmed me!

They do spawn indefinitely, but even better than souls, they have the chance to drop Humanity. Very very useful and well worth farming if you want some consumable Humanity items.

Im getting confused..are the 4 kings at end of this level? As i thought u mentioned u killed them already lol. Also youve done dukes archives already??? Thats 1 of the last batch of places that unlock no?? So youve already past the point where you make the decision to fight for the dark side or not???

Ive not done 4 kings yet (some one else said they had?) im under the impression you can tackle these 4 bosses in any order you want really? Ive not been to new londo or demon ruins yet (think thats what they are called)

Dukes archive unlocks once you put the lord vessel at firelink altar, o i did catacombs and tomb of giants, then went to dukes archives and crystal cave. Now thinking of new londo next

Nope, there's certainly no right order, though the game does let you know if an area is meant to be visited later in the game, simply by kicking your ass when you first visit it. The order I do things invariably starts off the same, but will change depending on whether I'm simply playing the game, or trying to build a particular skillset. Sometimes I'll end up farming in New Londo Ruins for Titanite Chunks if I'm looking to get a few weapons up to +15.

Ahh got confused with u and Stewy. Anor Londo is ace ehh. Did u do the mini quest from the murderer bronze knight? You can grab his armor. What bow have u got? The dragonslayer bow?
Also did u get into the painted world of aramis? Nice area in there with gear etc.

Yea i did all that stuff, i really enjoyed the painted world! Except for when i was silly and lost a hefty 70,000 souls to the wheel skeletons in the sewer bit, quickly regained ground there though!

The only bit of anor londo that gave me a problem was trying to get up and take out the archers at the top to then enter the main building! Took a few trys

So new londo is the place where i have to curse myself?

Yup. If you're lucky the ghosts will drop either a Ghost Blade or a Jagged Ghost Blade. These can be used to attack the ghosts without a need to be cursed. If you have the Gold Covetous Serpent Ring I would equip it when fighting the ghosts as they will drop enough Transient Curses for you to take your time without worrying that you will run out.

Nice tip thanks! Cant wait to reply this now knowing how stats affect certain weapon/armours etc will make for a much better playthrough
