Am i able to SLI a GTX780 that i have currently in my system with a GTX780 Ti? As when the EVGA Superclock ACX verstion comes out i plan to buy one and SLI them together. I understand the clock speeds may go down on the Ti to match that of my GTX780 (however it does run at a high Mhz 1086)

I also plan to use the 780Ti as the main card when not in SLI and the other 780 as a PhysX card.

No with Nvidia you need to use the same card ie titan with titan, 780ti with 780ti and gtx780 with gtx780. On AMD you can do this ie 290pro will work with a 290x.

You can however get SLI 780 Ti and use that spare 780 as a Phsyx card :p:p

Most overkill setup ever.

It look's like that is what im going to have to do then :)
Cheers for the help in this, im taken by surprise to be honest that i can't SLI a Ti version with a non-Ti but oh well.

Why not just sell the 780 and put the money towards another Ti?

Seems very illogical to have a non working sli setup and a non ti 780 just sitting there doing very little a lot of the time.

Already been planning to do that. I was thinking of grabbing two Superclocked ACX's 780Ti's and selling my Superclocked 780 to one of my dorm friends as he's looking to build a new computer.
