Opening a bottle without a bottle opener

I am in a hotel and I have some beers that I bought a bit ago and had in the car. My bottle opener is on my other keyring.

Things in the room:

Keys
Table
Desk
Kettle and assorted tea making facilities
Cups (x2)
Shoes
Soap
Key card
Menu
Lamp
Small change

Please help! Preferably without ruining the table/desk edges...

Edge the ridges in the cap open with a key

Put the end of the bottle over a table and hit the top of the bottom (warning, may wreck surfaces)

place a coin under your forefinger, and open it in the same fashion as you can with a lighter (youtbue this)

You're pretty set I think!

You can do it with keys. Just lever the top off.

Be careful now.

Belt buckle. Just hook it around the cap and pull.

I wasn't getting anywhere with keys, but have just managed to open a 660ml bottle of Cobra with a teaspoon.

I just put my left hand around the neck of the bottle and used it as a fulcrum against the flat handle of the teaspoon being a lever. Came straight off

Turn on lamp
Pick up Kettle and assorted tea making facilities
Pick up soap
Use soap with Kettle and assorted tea making facilities
Use soapy kettle with assorted tea making facilities with beers
Open beers
Talk to lamp
Turn off lamp
Use rubber chicken with a pulley in the middle with breath mints

Metal insert of the door or cupboard, should be strong enough.

If you've got a metal spoon in your tea and coffee assortment you can use the curve of the spoon to lever open the bottle caps a bit a time, only takes a couple of ridges to be prised off and you're in boozy business.

Be careful, last time I tried to to open a bottle without an opener I sliced my finger open badly.
