No doubt someone will make a 'mat' for it soon and sell them on the net. An anti slip / anti wobble mat, they'll sell it for £20 and people will buy it. Betcha.
 
Paid for mine last night. All over the place with work over next few weeks so just got it out the way.

Still don't think I'll keep it to be honest. Just no pre launch games I want at the moment. If it wobbles like the videos posted it's going straight back anyway. I wouldn't except that level of quality on any other £100 + bit of hardware.
 
This is outstanding, people just say "meh....ill get some rubber feet or use an empty papers packet to balance it out"....come on...if this was the XO this forum would implode, dear god, it pretty bad if they cant build the thing straight.
 
Looks like its by design all the weight is that end of the unit, its also were the stand looks like it goes into. The rubber strip stops before that end so the stand fits, obviously if you sit there and try to wobble it it wobbles. What i would like to see if it moves with vibration either from the BD drive or even people jumping about making it wobble.

I would assume no, otherwise we would have heard about it by now. I guess we will find out for sure on Friday.

this :confused: there was a thread somewhere about how shoddy the XO was and the ps4 was a master piece of engineering. this is why i was weary of picking one up at launch! theres a little cynical voice inside me saying why is this console so cheap but so powerful ?what corners have been cut? last gen i went for xbox 360 at launch which was the cheapest and was out first and we all know that ended :mad: I'm just thankful there are not many games i want to play at launch so I'm happy for others to be the beta testers.of course i could be wrong and i hope i am i hope this machine is perfect :D
 
Ahh yes, the "look how much better engineered it is" even though it just looks like a uncovered typical laptop passive cooling design.
