Not if you have PSN+,l havent had to sync my trophies in years

Id be too scared to ever put a console vertically - jsut asking for someone to knock it over...

Think giant bomb have said it, its not been an issue for years due to PSN+ doing this in the background. I never did think it was a problem before hand though.

If you watch the Giant Bomb unboxing you'll see the stand has 2 parts you twist to lock the console into the stand.

if it does scratch discs we should here about it the us launch might be worth holding on to your pre order till then.also game do a disc insurance thing its only 1 pound if your disc breaks or scratches they swap for a brand new one

But you have to keep pushing it on one side all the time, you just cant let it sit or stand by itself

So lets get this right, if it rocks when reading discs, then it is a MAJOR problem. At this moment in time, no-one has mentioned this, so is it safe to assume that this does not happen? Time will tell, and with launch on Friday in the USA, we will soon find out.

It's fairly obvious they have decided to omit the rubber foot on the left of the machine for aesthetic reasons when it sits vertical. I don't see the issue myself, it's not like it's rocking on it's own, he is applying force where force will never be applied.

Yeah, I'm not worried yet. If we see feedback from the states regarding disc burn, then I'll re-think my options
